Tough loss for our Golden Eagle football team Friday night in a hard fought 48-40 game with Federal Hocking. We saw tons of improvements from the guys and we can really see the growth from the beginning of the season. Alex Parker, Aeden Mullins, Landon VanFosson, and Luke Davis combined to put up 319 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns! Proud of you fellas...keep working! The future is bright! This Friday we travel to Beallsville for a 7pm kickoff. #FlyEaglesFly #BelprePride

I'm going to try and catch up with the crazy week in Belpre sports last week with a couple of posts. Volleyball is coming off of a great week with two 3-0 victories over Meigs and Trimble! We will battle Fort Frye on Tuesday and take the court at home against Waterford on Thursday! Soccer also had an undefeated week by going 2-0 with victories over Monroe Central and Athens JV! This takes their record to 6-0-1 so far on the season! This week we take on Shenandoah at home on Tuesday, travel to Monroe Central on Thursday and then travel to Warren JV on Saturday. Awesome job to all of our soccer and volleyball athletes! #FlyEaglesFly #BelprePride

This week we started WIN time at BES. EVERY student in our building receives four 30 minute sessions of small group instruction on their level each week. We can't wait to see how much progress our students will make!

Huge shoutout to Carson Moore for shooting a 33 this evening! That 33 lowers the TVC record that he already owns, to an all time low score of 174 or an average 34.8 for the conference season! Wow! Awesome job Carson! We're proud of you! #FlyEaglesFly #BelprePride

Congratulations to the team on their win, with standout performances from Dalton, who led with a hat trick (3 goals), Josh with two goals, Kalan with one goal, and Preston and Hayden, who each contributed to the score. Quite an eventful weekend for all of our cross country runners, both past and present! Fantastic cross country weather and runs for our varsity teams at the Mason Ohio Invitational this weekend. Nearly 40 teams in attendance. The girls placed 15th overall and the boys 17th. Johnny Miller medaled with a finish of 16th place. Lila Dugan, Addy Stewart, Brayden McDaniel, Paxton Hudnall-Bolian, and Noah Garbo all ran personal best times. Austin Jenkins ran a season best time as well. These runners represented Belpre with pride! 🧡🖤 Meanwhile our Jr High cross country team competed at Fort Frye. The girls team placed a solid 4th out of 7 teams and Ellie Whitlatch medaled! The following athletes set new personal records: Ellie Whitlatch, Bailey Gruber, Bella Marshall, Ava Colvin, Mia Holiday, and Sianna Barker. Lydia Stevens, Gabby Cambell, and Harper Rogers ran their best times of the season. On the boys side, we were down a few runners and unable to place as a team. That didn’t stop the guys from running great times as Landon McCrady, Tanner Bills, and Aidyn Baxter all set new personal records, and Deegan Haines just missed a PR by a few seconds. Blake Rodgers also crushed his first collegiate race. With his time of 15:13, he not only finished 7th overall (169 runners in the race), he led his team to a second place finish (missing first by 1 point), and set a Wright State record for freshman 5K. Copied from the Belpre Cross Country page: Such an awesome job by all of our runners! We're proud of each of you! #FlyEaglesFly #BelprePride

Super busy night in the world of Belpre High School athletics! Starting off with Carson Moore breaking the all time TVC scoring record with a 1 over par 35 at Lakeside Golf Course. Unbelievable career for Carson so far! Keep grinding kid! Next to soccer where our Golden Eagles beat Caldwell 4-0 to remain unbeaten on the season! We were led by Dalton Lemon with 2 goals and 1 each from Preston Foss and Joshua Hess! Great season so far! Let's keep it rolling! Finally volleyball dropped a tough 3-1 loss at TVC leader Southern, handing them only their second lost set of the season! Liv Harrington and Khloe Cooper were stars of the game! Keep working girls, things are about to turn around! Really great job to all of our athletes tonight! We're really proud of each of you!! #FlyEaglesFly #BelprePride

Couple of tough games for our Golden Eagles tonight. Volleyball just didn't have their best stuff in dropping a tough 3-1 match at Trimble. Soccer played to a 1-1 tie with Wood County Christian to pause the win streak but still remain unbeaten at 3-0-1. Both teams return to action Thursday with soccer taking on Caldwell at home and volleyball traveling to Southern. Keep your chins up ladies and gentlemen...adversity makes us stronger! Let's get back after them Thursday! Let's go! #BelprePride #FlyEaglesFly

The Belpre XC Invitational is in two short weeks, Saturday, September 14th. We are looking for volunteers to help make this year’s meet a success. We need help with course set up on Friday, September 13th. This usually only takes a few hours in the morning. We are also looking for course monitors— people to stand along the course on Saturday to make sure the runners are following the correct path. If you’d be interested in helping out in any way, please comment below. Thank you, Belpre XC supporters!! Copied from the Belpre Cross Country page. #BelprePride #FlyEaylesFly
