Students in the 3D Creations and Robotics & Engineering classes had the opportunity last week to visit Micro Machine Works in Barlow and the Appalachian Ohio Manufacturing Coalition Support Center in Marietta to explore training and career opportunities that relate to what they are learning in class. We appreciate these businesses for being willing to connect with our youth and for providing a very unique and engaging hands-on experience!

ETS is accepting applications from Belpre students in grades 7-12! See all the info below!
We accept students who have shown an interest in pursuing a college education and/or want to learn more about their choices after graduating high school. We provide opportunities for students to learn about careers, training options, college, financial aid, and so much more through bi-weekly visits to the school. Visits take place during 8th period (FLEX). Another perk of ETS is all of the amazing trips we offer. We visit places such as COSI, Carnegie Science Center, and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We check out the STEM days at Kings Island and Cedar Point. We've seen lots of Broadway shows including The Lion King, School of Rock, ELF, The Nutcracker and so many others. We've attended lots of great sporting events including The Wheeling Nailers Hockey game, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball games, OSU and MC basketball games-with tours of campus included. Speaking of campus tours, we take our 10-12 graders to visit area colleges so that they can truly see what it is like to be on campus. They get an admissions presentation, financial aid overview, and a tour of the classrooms, dorm rooms, athletic facilities, libraries, and most importantly, we always try to eat in the dining halls! The best part of all this?? In addition to all the great information and opportunities, all services and activities are FREE to members!! We also provide ACT fee waivers, college application fee waivers, and lots of ETS goodies!!
