Belpre Elementary School’s heating system failed earlier today. We have had crews on-site today working diligently to identify the problem and to bring the system back online. Due to the nature of the problem, and the age of the system, custom parts have had to be ordered that will take sometime to arrive. We will have crews working through the weekend to make appropriate fixes while we wait for the parts for a final repair. Accordingly, Belpre Elementary School will be closed Monday, January 8 with the possibility of additional days beyond that depending on when the parts arrive and the repairs can be completed. We will notify parents by 5:00 pm each evening if an additional day of closure will be required. Grades 7-12 and the preschools will continue to operate as normally scheduled. We sincerely apologize for the delay and will work diligently so we can get our learners back into our building as soon as possible.
