Dear valued parents, esteemed BOE members, dedicated community members, and aspiring students: We invite you to participate in a crucial endeavor that will define the trajectory of mathematics education within the Belpre City School District. Your unique perspectives, invaluable insights, and thoughtful comments are sought as we embark on the journey to craft a successful mathematics curriculum that empowers our students for years to come. Your input will play a pivotal role in guiding the decisions of the Belpre Schools' Mathematics Curriculum Review Committee. As we endeavor to adopt a new mathematics curriculum, we firmly believe that your collective wisdom will enrich our understanding of what constitutes an effective and impactful curriculum. Whether you're a parent invested in your child's educational journey, a dedicated BOE member steering the course, an engaged community member with a stake in our schools, or a passionate student with firsthand experiences, your perspective matters greatly. By sharing your thoughts, hopes, suggestions, and comments, you will contribute to the foundation upon which we build a mathematics curriculum that not only imparts essential knowledge but also cultivates critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love for learning. We truly appreciate the time you dedicate to this endeavor and the trust you place in us to shape the future of education in our district. Please take a few moments to complete the survey and let your voice be heard. Together, we can create a mathematics curriculum that reflects our collective aspirations and ambitions. The survey is anonymous, and most questions are optional. Thank you for taking the time to aid our mathematics curriculum selection process. A link to the survey can be found at: https://forms.gle/tovr5QZQbRww1qvFA Thank you for your unwavering support and your commitment to the betterment of Belpre City School District. Go Eagles! With Gratitude, Mrs. Ally Trew Director of Curriculum Belpre City School District

Congratulations to Belpre High School junior Jasmine Wright on her selection to serve as a member of the Ohio Attorney General David Yost's Teen Ambassador Board. Students from across the state applied for this competitive one-year appointment. As a member of the Board, Jazzie will meet with governmental officials, work with her peers on initiatives and discuss relevant teen issues for the state. She will also be exposed to the processes and personnel of Ohio’s largest law firm and highest law enforcement agency.

Students in the Careers and STEM classes worked on their team-building skills by putting together a puzzle. The catch? Only the leader of the group could touch the puzzle pieces--but they had to keep their eyes closed the whole time.
