Attention Junior High and High School Families, Term 1 report cards will be posted online in your Infinite Campus parent and student portals this year, and will not be printed out unless requested. You will be able to view your child’s Term 1 report card beginning October 28th, 2022. If you have not created a parent Infinite Campus account yet, you can go onto www.belpre.k12.oh.us and go to the menu, then scroll down to “Parents” then click the plus sign next to the “Infinite Campus - Student Grades” option. There will be a link to a Google form and you’ll fill that out. Please allow three to five business days for your account to be created. Once your account is created, you will be able to log into Infinite Campus and you’ll be able to view your student’s grades, attendance, and other important information. As we approach report card time, another post will be made here with instructions on how to access report cards on Infinite Campus. Here is a direct link to the Google Form if you are having trouble finding it on the district website: https://docs.google.com/a/belpre.k12.oh.us/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfVynZsQoqFNTCTbpSRLk0BFJcyRzHB1HBLrbGdmbI7NBqzFA/viewform

After learning about farming in class, the Kindergarten had the chance to observe a real working farm in Marietta, OH - the Hartline Farm! Students learned about how the farm raises and maintains their cattle as well as the milking process. Students asked thoughtful questions and learned so much! Special thanks to Mrs. Becci Hartline for hosting our students and providing such an engaging learning opportunity!

Attention Class of 2022! The state of Ohio has a new post-grad location survey that has been sent out to all students who graduated in 2022, who attended classes at BHS senior year. Students who attended the Career Center will have a different survey from the Career Center. If you're the family member of a 2022 grad, remind them to check the email they shared at graduation practice for this very important survey! If they didn't get it, please have them contact EMIS coordinator, Chey Parsons, at bc_cparsons@belpre.k12.oh.us or school counselor, Jen Miller, at bc_jmiller@belpre.k12.oh.us for the link.

Mr. Carpenter’s seventh grade classes engaged in a hands-on lab in which they used fruity rice cereal, warm water, and yeast to create sickness bags that inflated themselves. The learning was that within science, physical systems can either be described as open or closed depending on their relationship to the universe around them. BCS teachers are working hard to make learning engaging, fun, and tied to 21st century Portrait of a Graduate competencies!
