Awesome job ladies and gentlemen! Way to make Belpre proud! #FLYEAGLESFLY #BELPREPROUD

Tough night for the Lady Eagles tonight on the softball field. The ladies dropped a 12-2 decision to a really good River Valley team for our first loss of the season. The girls drop to a very respectable 4-1 record so far. Don't hang your heads ladies, we'll bounce back quickly. Even on a night where we were struggling to hit, Makayla Carmichael blasted yet another no doubt home run, giving her 4 on the season already! #FLYEAGLESFLY #BELPREPRIDE

Tonight we got to watch Blake Church and Derek Liston for the last time in a Belpre basketball uniform, playing in the BACF all star game. Both guys had really good games and were valuable contributors to the Ohio side. We'll really miss these two and are thankful for the memories in a black and orange uniform. Really proud of you both!
#FLYEAGLESFLY #BELPREPRIDE

Another dominant performance from our varsity girls on the diamond tonight with a 17-1 victory over Wirt County. Makayla Carmichael and AJ Varner combined to only allow 1 run over 5 innings! At the plate we were paced by Lucy Ruble going 2-3 with a bomb to left in the 11 run 2nd inning! Also having huge games were Makayla Carmichael 2-4(triple), Rylee Wolfe 3-4(double), and Khloe Cooper 2-3(triple). Awesome job tonight ladies! Let's keep it rolling tomorrow night at River Valley! #FLYEAGLESFLY #BELPREPRIDE

Great start to the track season by our Jr High track teams with both the girls and the boys finishing in 4th place overall. The boys were paced by 3rd place finishes in both the 4x200(Chase Ullman, Landon McCrady, Jahvid Lincoln, and Gavin Snyder) and the 4x800(Logan Norman, Landon McCrady, Paxton Hudnall-Bolian, and Maddox Crum). Many great performances tonight with several of our athletes placing on the top 8! Great first meet ladies and gentlemen! Awesome job from all of you!

The Belpre High School Marching Band is heading home after an incredible trip to Disney World! The band took part in a Disney Imagination Campus Workshop with one of Disney's top music arrangers, Allen Grey. During the workshop, the band worked on sight reading and other musical skills while playing familiar Disney songs. Their final piece was recorded and set to a movie scene to show them how much the music means in a story. The color guard also had a workshop with Spencer Collins who has toured with several professional drum corps. The entire band visited 4 parks and Disney Springs and for many of these students, this was their first Disney experience! The band sends out a HUGE thank you to the parents and community members who helped make this lifetime experience a reality. We are so proud of this group and all the work they put in during their marching season and this trip was a well deserved recognition of their accomplishments.

Another awesome night at the ball fields. Both the varsity softball and baseball teams picked up huge conference wins against Eastern! The girls came away with a tight 6-5 win behind yet another dominant pitching performance from Makayla Carmichael. Makayla went all 7 innings scattering 4 hits and striking out 8. Lucy Ruble provided the knockout blow with a 3 run homer in the home half of the 4th to give the Lady Eagles the runs they would need to secure the win. On the baseball field the fellas won a thriller in extra innings by the score of 3-2! Speaking of dominant pitching performances, Chris Copen was dealing! Copen only allowed 4 hits and 2 runs over 9 innings while striking out 13! The boys scored on a fielders choice by Derek Liston to take the win in dramatic, walkoff fashion! Carson Moore led the boys at the plate with 3 hits in 4 at bats! Fantastic night at Civitan Park and extremely proud of the fight and determination both teams showed tonight! #FLYEAGLESFLY #BELPREPRIDE
