Last week the fourth graders completed their journey through the Middle Ages with a trip to the high school, where we participated in several stations relating to that period. We visited the STEAM lab where the students explored the many opportunities the class offers and saw how the high school students used the Glowforge to make 3D prints of each student a coat of arms. Next, the students visited the Taste and Textiles class and did a weaving project. They also played several Medieval games in the gym. The students had lots of fun. The Middle Ages unit is just one unit of many that students will learn about in Reading class with their CKLA curriculum.

Tough loss for our boys last night in the sectional finals to Fairland. The guys fought hard all night and eventually fell by the score of 61-52. It was a great season with our first TVC championship in 12 years! The boys were led by the trio of Blake Church, Derek Liston, and Junior Bass all with 12 points.
