Mr. Ryan Leasure’s Life Skills Training class includes workbooks to complete as the class progresses. The workbooks contain activities to go along with the class content. In hopes of encouraging student achievement in life skills training, cash prizes were awarded to the top three students who produced the best, most complete workbooks! Pictured above is our first place winner, Katherine Leiter. Her workbook was outstanding! Cash prizes were also awarded to the second and third place winners yesterday as well. The Post-School Readiness class enjoyed painting and setting up displays with the Holiday Lights Committee this morning and then spent the afternoon doing yard work for a wonderful elderly resident. The students took a lot pride in helping out today. Their next project is going to be raising money to provide appreciation baskets for nurses at local hospitals. If you’d like to donate to this project, please contact teacher Jen Wells at bc_jwells@belpre.k12.oh.us.
