🎉 Congratulations to our 2025 BEA Friend of Education Award Recipients! 🎉
On Friday, August 8, 2025, the Belpre Education Association proudly recognized Collin Yost, Judy Hartley Frum, Brittany Forshey, and Doug Terrell during our annual BEA Cookout in the Courtyard at Belpre High School.
The Friend of Education Award honors individuals who go above and beyond to support our students, staff, and schools. This year’s recipients have each made a lasting impact through their dedication, generosity, and commitment to the Belpre educational community.
We are deeply grateful for all you do to make a difference in the lives of our students. 🦅💛🖤

Join us on Monday for Open House!

We've made some changes to our Alumni Event this weekend in hopes to get more people involved. Instead of a 4s tournament, we will play 6 vs. 6. All alumni will be placed on 6-person teams that will play against our current varsity team. It's $5 to come play and spectators are encouraged to come watch players get back in the game. We hope to see lots of familiar faces!

Last week, the Belpre High School Student Council spent 2 days in a retreat as they gear up to lead for the 2025-2026 School Year. Student Leaders spent time developing a Mission Statement, planning a mock event where they focused on paying attention to all the details to make it successful, meeting with their class councils, planning events for the school year, and team building. Additionally, the Council took part in their 2nd Annual IMPACT Day where they met with community leaders and professionals for a Speed Networking Session. This is always a favorite for the students. This year, students met with Joey Boggess - Realtor, Karen Waller - Belpre Chamber of Commerce, Lyndsay Dennis - Artsbridge, Collin Yost - Roseland Coffee, Christy Welsh - Campus Martius, Gwen Sour - Parkersburg News and Sentinel, Dawn Wilson - Camden Clark Teen Volunteer Program. One of the big take aways from this year's retreat was a feeling of positivity and hope for our school and our community!

Calling all BHS Volleyball Alumni and friends! We are hosting our first ever alumni event this year and are so excited to see faces from the past that helped us get here! No matter your graduation year, come show off your skills, have a good time, and get back in the game! Use the link below to register!

The Pride of Belpre recently returned from Band Camp at Muskingum University in New Concord, OH. During camp, the 49 member strong group worked on music, marching, field placement, team building, and staying cool in the heat and dry in the rain. Their show, "The Alchemist's Machine" is going to be amazing and we can't wait to see this group thrive this season!

The Belpre Mile will be Saturday, August 2, 2025, as part of the Belpre Homecoming festivities. This year's race will feature a new circus-themed t-shirt design as well as expanded age categories. Registration can be completed online by clicking the link, https://forms.gle/RcrDQWt2W9EHZ7JM8, or by picking up an application at the Healthy Hustle in Belpre or the Belpre City Building. The only way to receive a race shirt is to register and pay by Friday, July 25, 2025; however, registration will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. the morning of the race at Howe's Grove Park. Run (or walk) your way to a fun, fast mile! All proceeds support the Belpre Cross Country and Track Teams.

It might be summer, but school is right around the corner. If you haven't signed your little up for Kindergarten at Belpre City Schools yet, you're in luck. There are still spots available for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Get the Kindergarten Enrollment Packet online or pick one up in person.
