Recently, a new set of laws strengthening dyslexia supports for Ohio’s children went into effect. As mandated, Belpre City Schools is administering an Ohio approved dyslexia screener to all students in grades kindergarten through third grade. If flagged, you will receive communication from the school in regards to next steps. The Belpre City Schools dyslexia committee has been working hard this past year to prepare for these changes.

BHS Homecoming week is here! We are excited to introduce our Homecoming Court attendants for 2023. We apologize for an earlier publication which had the freshmen and sophomore attendants' names reversed. It has been corrected.
All 7-12 students and staff are invited to dress up for Spirit Week. We can't wait to see everyone's creativity on Wednesday!
Students in the ROBOTICS & ENGINEERING CLASS have been working through the Engineering Design Process by designing and creating a Rube Goldberg machine that launches a ping pong ball.

Just a reminder that this week's football game vs. Waterford is being played at our home away from home at Stadium Field at Parkersburg High School. The address is 1919 Spring St. Parkersburg, WV. Tickets will be on sale at the back gate in the parking lot and all passes will be honored. We will have Hangry's food truck again this week as well as Sno-Biz to keep cool. Hopefully this will be the last week of having to travel for a home game as we should be back home at Ralph Holder Stadium next week for a true Homecoming! Please come out and support our Football team, our cheerleaders, and the Pride of Belpre at Stadium Field Friday night! They've had a great week of practice and are working really hard! Let's show them our support and that we have their backs!!!! See you all at Stadium Field Friday Night!!! BELPRE PRIDE!!!

Such a special community! Thank you Rockland Ridge employees, Heather Jordan and Brenda Dunn for bringing Rowene who spent a great deal of time putting together an assortment of supplies for our students. Rowene was a paraprofessional and really enjoyed putting these together.
Thank you so much Hardee's of Belpre for your generosity. They donated multiple backpacks loaded with supplies for our students!
