Quick recap of the boys baseball team from the past few days. The fellas started sectional play on Tuesday at home against West Union with an 11-1, 5 inning victory! Derek Liston went all 5 innings only allowing 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 6. At the dish the gentlemen pounded out 11 hits and scored 11 runs. Led by Johnny Miller who went 3-3 with 3 RBI's. Blake Church and Chris Copen each chipped in with 2 hits a piece, including a 2 run bomb over the left field fence by Copen! Liston, Carson Moore, Ryan Owens, and Chase Maze also contributed a hit, respectively. It was a great way to end our last night at Civitan Park for the 2024 season. We didn't fare quite as well in the next round when we visited a 20-5 Portsmouth team, thus ending our season. With plenty to build off of for next year, we'll be back stronger than ever for 2025! Great season to all of the boys!! #BELPREPRIDE #FLYEAGLESFLY
