Families of students going into grades 7-12 next year who are interested in learning more about the College Credit Plus program are invited to attend an information session on February 8th, 2023, at 6:00 PM in the Lawton gym. Please plan to attend if your student wishes to participate in CCP next year! A powerpoint will be available on the district website after this meeting for those who cannot attend.
Class of 2023 Senior Breakfast
The class of 2023 will have a senior breakfast this Wednesday, January 25th, at 6:30am in the High School library. This is a very important meeting in which we will discuss things such as our class song, graduation speaker, and many more important details for graduation. We will also provide breakfast catered from the Redwood. We hope to see all seniors there!

Belpre High School is now offering driver’s education through MOV ESC.
If your student has their learners permits or will be getting it soon we would like you to join us on 1/19/23 at 6 p.m. in the High School Library for an informational meeting.
This will help you see what this program will offer the student and how great it will be doing driver’s education right through our school. There is also an option for financial assistance.

Belpre City Schools will be closed on Monday, January 16th, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Students will return to the buildings on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

We would like you to join us on next Thursday, January 19 at 6 p.m. in the High School Library for an informational meeting. This will help you see what the MOVESC offers the student and how great it will be doing driver’s education right through our school. Belpre City Schools is a research partner school with the Character Lab Research Network, which is an internationally recognized research network of educational scientists. In 2022-2023, our partnership continues with participation in upcoming research surveys. Should you wish to opt your student out of participation in the January 19th, 2023 scheduled activity, please contact Belpre High School at 740.423.3000 for instructions on how to opt out. A link to the Character Lab Opt-out process will be provided. Also, your student can cease participation at any time during the research activity.

Supporting the transition from 6th to 7th grade is a priority of the Belpre Middle Grades initiative. For their first visit to the JH campus, our 6th graders joined us in the Lawton building for the 2nd Annual Reindeer Games, a holiday-themed class competition between the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. At the end of intense (and quite silly) competition, our 7th graders reign victorious as the 2022 Reindeer Games Champions! We had lots of fun, made lots of noise, and broke lots of candy canes!
